Internet Business Plan
A summary of your 6-day internet business plan.
Day One…
• Write your business plan using the above knowledge you have learned about yourself and your business goals
• Have a solid choice for your business name and logo
• Get a website! Put your business on the internet and have at least an outline of your services and products. Set your website up with e-commerce abilities so that you can sell over the internet.
Day Two…
• Buy either a quality loose leaf notebook or a computer program from a local office supply or software store that deals with spreadsheets and/ or management. This notebook/ software will serve as your detailed list of competitors and their ad practice.
• Search the internet through search engines for competitors and sub-competitors. Make sure you utilize all the major search engines, Google, Yahoo!, Dog Pile, and ECT in order to get the most complete listing of those who sell poker products.
• Come up with your own marketing plan!
Day Three…
• Figure out which type of keywords work best for your particular retail products. Choose primary and secondary phrases
• Decide which outlets you want to focus on when it comes to driving traffic to your website. You can choose from pay-per-click, blog postings, spiders, ECT.
• Hire a freelance writer, if applicable, to do your website content. Make sure they are well informed on what you do and how.
Day Four…
Day four of your internet business plan should include:
• Look at your advertising plan and come up with a conclusion
• Decide which of the above marketing practices would come in handy to your particular needs.
• Put it into practice!
Day Five…
• Start by drawing out a list of the pro’s and cons that having a newsletter would have for you and your business. Obviously time and money is a con while profit and quality is a pro!
• Decide whether you would hire a writer or undergo the newsletter yourself.
• Start writing!
Day Six…
• Look at all of the Adsense and pay-per-click advertisements out there. Look at the top ones and pick out at least one to put your advertisements onto. Design your pay-per-click ad and sit back and watch!
• Visit local stores to get on their bulletin boards and store windows (have a flyer with you when you go!)
• Create a product that is new to the market!
• Decide whether membership is right for your particular needs
